Construction Continued: 

These steps will need concentration!
Step 1: Take 48 Gorgeous and 48 Darlings and 48 Sugar plums and using quick piecing techniques as described below, sew 1 Darling to 1 Sugar plum on each end of a Gorgeous as per diagram to make Snookums.

Step 2: The other 48 have to be reversed to make Pets.
Step 3: Join the Snookums to the Pets to make 48 Chooches.
Quick Piecing:

On the back of each square draw a diagonal line from one corner to the opposite corner.

Place the square on one end of a rectangle (right sides together and checking the angle is going in the right direction), sew on the drawn line, trim corner if you want, press open. Repeat on the other end, again checking the angle before sewing and cutting.
